What personal data do we collect?

To provide our products, services and websites and for other business purposes, we collect and process personal data for our clients, potential clients, contractors and website users.

We may collect personal data from you such as your name, email address, mailing address, phone numbers, and information about your use of our websites/social media, products and services.

In certain circumstances, you will need to provide us with specific categories of personal data to enter into a contract with us and for us to perform that contract.

You may also volunteer elements of personal data as part of our providing coaching, mastermind or retreat services to you. We may keep a record of those interactions in order to more effectively to support you and deliver our services.  We do not knowingly collect personal data relating to children.

How do we collect your data?

We may collect data from you when you:

For what purposes do we use your personal data?

We may use the information we collect to:

What legal grounds do we rely on?

We rely on the following legal grounds to collect and process your personal information:

What marketing will you receive from us?

You will receive marketing communications from us if you have requested information from us or if you provided us with your details when you requested to receive our ebook, subscribed to our newsletter, guide or similar and, in each case, you consented to receive that marketing.

We don’t rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.

We use a third-party provider, Active Campaign, to deliver our newsletter. We gather statistics around email openings and clicks using industry-standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our mailings. For more information, please see ActiveCampaign’s privacy notice.  You can unsubscribe to our mailings at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by emailing us.

Who do we share your data with and why?

We may have to share your personal data in the following circumstances:

We require all third parties to respect the security of your personal data and to treat it in accordance with the law. We do not allow our third-party service providers to use your personal data for their own purposes and we only permit them to process your personal data for our specified purposes and in accordance with our instructions.

How do we protect your personal data?

We protect your privacy by using appropriate measures and secure technology to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed.

We limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know. They will only process your personal data on our instructions and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality.

How long do we keep your data?

For contacts who have not bought from us: we find that people come back to us a long time after our initial contact, and sometimes after things have been quiet between us for a very long time.  However, we do like to be able to respond appropriately and intelligently to old connections, so we generally keep your information on our CRM system for 3 years from our last point of contact.

If you have contacted us and signed up for a mailing list but never purchased from us, you will remain on the list you joined until you unsubscribe from that list.   We clean our lists from time to time and unsubscribe people who not ever read anything from us.  But in order to avoid adding you again by mistake, unsubscribes are kept on an unsubscribe list.

For our clients and our suppliers: We have a long-term relationship with many of our clients and suppliers. For that reason, we may retain information for 10 years from the last point of contact.

Data location and platforms

Like many businesses, we do not have any tailor-made software – we use mainstream packages for everything from our client records, to email, to accounting. This means that some of our data may be held on servers in the USA or other non-EEA countries. However, in all cases, we have picked mainstream suppliers with appropriate security standards.

A full list of your rights is detailed on the ICO’s website.
