A former barrister, Shamsur continues to lead an insightful, intensive and varied career. Having made a switch mid-career from legal to the finance area, Shamsur is a prime example of how we can go for something new and different at any point in our lives, including our careers.

With extensive experience in the media and publishing sectors, Shamsur works mainly with fast growing start-ups providing strategic guidance, tax planning and giving voice to entrepreneurial ambitions via spreadsheets! Of his days in publishing, Shamsur is proud to have been able to mentor some first-time authors through the beginning of their careers.

Shamsur epitomises our ethos of ‘lifelong learning’, growth and breaking boundaries of adventure into something new.  He enjoys Sunday drives and the smells of his local bakery.
